About the Inn

Westphal Mansion Inn is an elegant bed and breakfast in the charming town of Hartford, Wisconsin. The mansion has a rich history, but luxurious modern amenities like robes, decadent chocolates and fresh flowers. Our eight well-appointed guest suites offer antique decor, vintage queen and king beds with cozy down comforters.

Elegant Gardens Surround the Mansion

The Inn is surrounded by English Rose and Lavender gardens, beautiful mature maple trees, fruit trees, various berry plants, herbs and vintage garden art. There is a Tuscan outdoor Garden Room, draped with Wisteria and features antiques, a soothing wall fountain, and overlooks a beautiful park. A pergola is shaded by grape vines with a swing, to be enjoyed alone or with a special someone!

Innkeepers Pam and Garret Terpstra have created a lovingly restored historical getaway with the comfort of their guests in mind. Each afternoon they invite you to participate in a Wine and Cheese Social Hour in the formal living room next to a cozy fire. Pam and Garret's love for cooking and entertaining can be sampled every morning with a delicious homemade four-course breakfast and warm freshly baked cookies each evening.

A Gourmet Breakfast Served Each Morning

Mornings begin with unique teas, Stone Creek coffee, followed by an elegant full four-course breakfast, including dessert. Enjoy your breakfast in a gracious formal dining room, which has been restored to retain all it's original architectural features, creating a rich nostalgic, Old World dining experience.
